Workwear & Safety
Kit that has to pass an inspection, not just a brand guideline.
Workwear is the one apparel category where getting it wrong has consequences beyond taste. A garment that fails a site audit is a garment nobody is allowed to wear, and a print in the wrong place can invalidate the certificate you paid for. So this range is specified around the standard first and the branding second.
Specialised supplier
For workwear and safety footwear we work with RolyWRK, the workwear line from Roly, manufactured by Gor Factory in Murcia, Spain, in business since 1985 and distributing across Europe. RolyWRK runs as its own catalogue rather than a few extra pages at the back of a promotional book, which is exactly why the sizing, the fabric weights and the certification detail survive procurement questions.
Spanish manufacturer since 1985
Gor Factory in Murcia produces the Roly brands for the European market, with OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified textiles.
A dedicated workwear catalogue
RolyWRK 2026 covers workwear uniforms and safety footwear as a specialist range rather than an afterthought.
Hi-vis, flame retardant, healthcare, food
High visibility, flame retardant, healthcare and food service families sit in one range, so a mixed site order stays on one invoice.
Stock depth for reorders
Held stock means the same garment, colour and fit when you reorder in six months for three new starters.

Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play, so the page stays fast and no third party cookie is set before you choose.
How PPE certification actually worksTap a category. Most hi-vis sits in the middle one.
Category I
Minimal risk, such as gardening gloves or light sun protection. The manufacturer self certifies and issues a Declaration of Conformity.
Category II
Intermediate risk, which covers almost all high visibility clothing. A notified body must complete an EU type examination before the garment can be CE marked.
Category III
Irreversible harm or death, such as flame retardant and chemical protection. Type examination plus ongoing surveillance of production by a notified body.
Whatever the category, the paperwork travels with the goods: CE marking, a Declaration of Conformity and the manufacturer instructions for use. We send them with the order rather than waiting to be asked during an audit.
The standards you will be asked aboutMarked on the label, not on the marketing.
EN ISO 20471
High visibility clothing. Sets the fluorescent and retroreflective areas, the permitted colours and the visibility class.
EN 343
Protection against rain. Rated separately for water penetration and breathability, with both classes shown on the label.
EN 342
Ensembles against cold, for freezer work and winter outdoors, tested for thermal insulation and air permeability.
EN 14058
Garments for cool environments, the lighter counterpart to EN 342 for chilled rather than frozen conditions.
EN ISO 11612
Protection against heat and flame, for welding, foundry and utility work where sparks and molten splash are routine.
EN ISO 20345
Safety footwear. The 200 joule toe cap baseline, plus slip resistance, penetration resistance and antistatic ratings.
What follows is the part suppliers rarely put in writing: what the visibility classes actually mean, and how to brand a certified garment without invalidating it.
Workwear mapped by operating environment
Every industry has a uniform. Every risk needs its own specification.
Workwear is not just a construction category. From an airport apron to a cleanroom, visibility, climate, abrasion, contamination, laundering and public-facing identity all change. Search for your sector, then filter by the working condition that actually drives the brief.
Filter by working condition
No matches. Try another term or return to all sectors.
A sector is the starting point—not the specification.
Tell us the roles, tasks, hazards, locations, seasons, wash frequency, sizes, branding and replacement cycle. We compare RolyWRK and other specialist suppliers against that brief, not against a generic industry label.
General guidance only. PPE must be selected by the employer using a competent workplace risk assessment, site rules, applicable law and the manufacturer documentation.
Visibility, branding and the site
Class 1, 2 or 3? The label is not a styling decision.
Visibility class comes from measured areas of fluorescent and retroreflective material, not from how bright a garment looks in a photograph. Pick the class from the risk, then brand it in a way that leaves the certificate intact.
The class visualiserChoose a class, then switch the daylight off.
The class with the lowest minimum material areas. Suitability depends on the workplace risk assessment and site rules; the class alone does not approve a garment for any task.
Intermediate minimum areas of visible material. Common in many working environments, but the required level still comes from the risk assessment and site rules.
The greatest minimum material areas and stronger recognition of the wearer's shape. It may be achieved by one garment or a certified combination where the manufacturer documentation permits it.
Fluorescent material increases contrast in daylight and low light. In darkness, retroreflective material returns light towards its source, which is why the area, layout and condition of the tape all matter.
Branding a certified garment without voiding it
This is where workwear orders quietly go wrong, and where a supplier who tells you nothing becomes your problem at the next audit.
Do not decorate on or across retroreflective tape unless the manufacturer expressly permits a tested method. Decoration can reduce its performance.
Keep the certified minimum material areas intact. A logo covering fluorescent or retroreflective material can alter the declared class.
Check the permitted positions, dimensions and methods for the exact product. We follow the RolyWRK or manufacturer instructions before production.
Retain the label, user instructions and EU Declaration of Conformity. A material modification may affect conformity and the manufacturer's responsibility.
The complete sector map
24 working environments. No one-size-fits-all kit.
The next block organises infrastructure, industry, transport, services, healthcare, food, public-sector work and more by real hazards and clothing needs.
The questions procurement asks
Can we mix classes across a crew?
Yes, provided each garment is certified and the combination each person wears meets the class the site demands. We check the manufacturer ensemble rules rather than assuming.
How long does hi-vis actually last?
Every certified garment declares a maximum number of wash cycles. Past that, visibility performance is no longer guaranteed, so we build a replacement cycle into repeat orders.
Can you match our exact tape layout?
Sometimes. We first check whether the layout exists on an available certified garment or requires special manufacture, testing, a minimum quantity and its own lead time.
Can you deliver to several sites?
Yes. Split deliveries across sites and countries on one order, with a local phone number for each drop so nothing sits in a depot waiting for a signature.
General guidance, not a PPE specification. The employer and competent safety lead must select each item from the workplace risk assessment, applicable rules, product certificate and manufacturer instructions.
Specify it once, then reorder it for years.
Send us the sites, the risks and the headcount. You get garment options with the certificate detail, honest lead times and a clear quote.
