Quartz movements from Miyota (part of the Citizen group) and Seiko, depending on the model: Miyota OS10 in the Boston and California chronographs, Seiko PC21 in the Sofia. Each product page names its movement.

07Can you swim with a 3 ATM watch?
No. 3 ATM means splash resistant: rain and hand washing. Swim with 5 ATM or more; 10 ATM models such as the Boston and Georgia suit swimming and snorkelling, not scuba diving.
08Quartz, automatic or solar: which is best for a corporate gift?
Quartz is the most accurate and the easiest to own, which is why most corporate watches use it. An automatic suits watch lovers who value craft; solar recharges from light.

17How long does a logo watch order take?
Logo watches are made to order, so we confirm the timing in your quote once the model and quantity are set. Allow at least 5 working days for delivery, and plan ahead for ceremonies and events.
18Will I see a proof before production?
Yes. You receive a digital proof showing your logo on the dial and any engraving. Production starts only once you approve it.
19Which logo file do you need?
A vector file (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) is best. Very fine lines and gradients may be simplified so they print cleanly on a small dial.
20Can we mix models in one order?
Yes. Combine men's and women's models, such as the Sofia in 40 and 26 mm, in one quote; minimums usually apply per model.
21Are Tiflo watches Swiss made?
No. They use quartz movements from Miyota and Seiko. Swiss made is a legal term for watches with a Swiss movement, cased and inspected in Switzerland, with at least 60% of their value Swiss.
22Mineral glass or sapphire: what is the difference?
Sapphire rates 9 on the Mohs scale and resists scratches but can break under a hard knock; mineral glass is softer but tougher against impact. Ask us which glass a model uses.
23Stainless steel or alloy: what is the difference?
Stainless steel, often 316L, resists corrosion and is used for most quality cases. Alloy is a lighter, plated metal, used on models such as the Sofia and Lugano.
24How long does a watch battery last?
Miyota says most of its quartz movements run three years or more on one battery. A watchmaker can replace it; solar models recharge from light instead.
25Can watches and other gifts go in one quote?
Yes. Combine watches with branded clothing, bags or desk gifts in one quote, delivered together or to separate addresses.
26Do you also supply smartwatches?
Yes. Tiflo's TSM smartwatches take a laser-engraved logo on the back from 50 pieces, and Ice-Watch smartwatches are in our designer gifts catalogue.
