    Where do Dagiù’s products come from?

    From small producers across Southern Italy, in Sicily, Calabria, Campania, Puglia and Sardinia: from pasta made with ancient Sicilian wheat to fish preserved in Cetara. Dagiù ships from Palazzolo Acreide, Sicily.

    What do DOP and IGP mean on Italian food?

    They are EU protected designations. DOP (PDO) means every stage happens in the named area; IGP (PGI) means at least one does. Examples: Colatura di Alici di Cetara DOP and Cioccolato di Modica IGP.

    Yes. For business deliveries, beer duty is due in the destination country and the shipment travels with an electronic document (e-SAD). We check each destination in your quote.

    How do chocolates travel in warm weather?

    Handmade pralines keep for 2 to 3 months and travel with cooling packs in summer. Tell us your dates and we plan the shipment around them; an office with someone to receive it is safest.

    Do we see a proof before production?

    Yes. You approve a digital proof of every logo, box and print before anything is made.

    What logo file do you need?

    A vector file (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF) is best. A high-resolution PNG works for printed boxes and cards; we tell you if anything needs changing.

    What is the minimum order?

    Dagiù boxes from 10, logo pralines from 50, custom Hachenburger kegs from 250 (called off in batches of 50), and catalogue gifts from the minimum shown on each product.

    Can each gift carry a personal message?

    Every Dagiù box comes with a message card, and chocolate boxes can carry a gift card. For other gifts, ask for a printed card in your quote.

    Do you list allergens?

    Food sold in the EU must highlight the 14 allergens of Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 on its label. Tell us about allergies and we choose the selection with you.

    Are there vegetarian and alcohol-free options?

    Yes. Dagiù packs vegetarian and alcohol-free selections, Hachenburger brews an alcohol-free beer, and the mocktail set suits anyone who does not drink.

    Can you deliver outside the EU?

    Dagiù boxes ship within the EU only. Beer travels under excise rules, with duty due in the destination country. Outside the EU, import charges are usually the receiver’s.

    Can our logo go on a Dagiù box?

    Yes, at extra cost, so it suits larger orders best. Smaller orders keep Dagiù’s own box, always with a message card.

    Why don’t you call these gifts eco-friendly?

    From 27 September 2026, EU Directive 2024/825 bans generic environmental claims that cannot be proven. We describe materials and certifications instead, such as RCS-certified recycled steel.

    Adults only: we supply alcoholic drinks only to businesses and adults aged 18 and over. Alcohol-free gifts suit everyone else.
