Branded T-shirts: the questions we hear most

    01

What sizes do your branded T-shirts come in?

It depends on the style. Our widest unisex T-shirt runs from kids' 1/2 years to adult 5XL, so a whole team, families included, can wear the same shirt. Baby sizes start at 6 months.

    02

What is the difference between a unisex and a women's fit T-shirt?

    A unisex T-shirt has a straight cut. A women's fit is shaped, with a tapered waist and a narrower chest: a women's M can measure 44 cm across, a unisex M 52 cm.

    03

Is there a minimum order, and how quickly can we have them?

Most of our T-shirts have no minimum order, so mix sizes and colours freely. They usually ship 7 to 14 working days after artwork approval, to all 33 European markets.

Weight, knit and fibre: feel the difference before you order

Slide from a 100 g/m² technical shirt to 270 g/m² heavy cotton and watch how much light gets through. Then put the lens on five knits.

    FAQ 04

The lamp test is an illustration: how much light gets through also depends on the colour and the knit.

    Under the lens

Drag the lens across the fabric.

    FAQ 06

    FAQ

    Weight, fibre and certificates

    04

    What does g/m² mean on a T-shirt?

It is the weight of one square metre of the fabric. Around 140 to 160 g/m² feels light, 180 to 190 is a solid everyday weight, and 200 g/m² and up feels heavy and structured. Our range runs from 100 g/m² technical shirts to 270 g/m² cotton.

    05

Do you have organic or recycled T-shirts?

Yes, check the certificate on the product page. OCS and GOTS cover organic cotton (the GOTS organic label needs at least 95% organic fibre). GRS covers recycled fibre, from 20% recycled content. BREDA is OCS organic cotton, ESTORIL is GRS recycled polyester.

    06

Cotton or polyester: which T-shirt should we choose?

Cotton feels soft and natural and takes screen printing and embroidery well. Technical polyester is light and quick to dry, so it suits runs, sports days and hot events. For full-colour sublimation, choose white polyester.

    FAQ 08

    Polo or T-shirt?

Will they meet customers or guests?

    FAQ 07
    • Cotton piqué polo
    • Technical polo
    • Cotton T-shirt, like BEAGLE
    • Technical T-shirt, like ESTORIL

Since 1933, when René Lacoste launched his piqué tennis shirt, the polo has sat neatly between the T-shirt and the shirt.

    FAQ

    Polos and logos

    07

Polo or T-shirt: which looks more professional?

A polo, usually. The collar and buttoned placket read as smarter, and the piqué knit holds its shape and takes embroidery well. Polos suit front desks, trade fairs and events; T-shirts win for runs, festivals and giveaways.

    08

Embroidery, screen print or transfer: which is best for our logo?

Embroidery gives polos and smaller logos a premium, stitched finish. Screen printing suits bold logos in larger runs. Digital transfer handles full colour and fine detail, even on a few pieces. We suggest the right one in your quote.
