Clothing & Apparel
Most merchandise ends up in a drawer. Apparel gets worn in public.
Every promotional category buys the same thing: time in front of a human being. Apparel is the only one people choose to wear, in public, repeatedly, for years. It is also the widest category we sell, running from a two euro cap for a festival crowd to certified site workwear and embroidered outerwear for a board.
Run your own numbersMove the sliders. None of this is our estimate.
One assumption, stated openly: eight people see each garment per wear. Halve it if you disagree, the arithmetic still favours apparel, and nobody blocks or scrolls past a jacket.
Fourteen situations, one categoryPick the one that sounds like your week.
HR and internal comms
Onboarding kits, service awards and team days. The right size waiting on day one signals belonging better than any laminated welcome pack.
Marketing and brand
The only medium where your audience becomes the billboard by choice, endorsing you inside networks that paid media cannot buy its way into.
Festivals and mass events
Crew, stewards and volunteers in the thousands, colour coded by function so the public knows who to ask, plus merch that sells at the gate and funds the next edition.
Trade shows and exhibitions
A dressed stand team reads as competence from thirty metres. Wearable giveaways leave the hall on people rather than in the bins behind it.
Construction and trades
Hi-vis, softshells and trousers that survive site conditions, ordered by proper size split and reordered without starting the conversation again.
Gyms, studios and clubs
Members wear your logo to train, then to the shops. Kit is revenue at reception and advertising the rest of the week, from the same order.
Hospitality and hotels
Front of house, kitchen and housekeeping dressed deliberately. Guests read a uniform as evidence the rest of the operation is run properly.
Retail and franchise
Consistent presentation across sites and seasons, with a reorder pattern that keeps a new opening looking identical to the flagship.
Procurement and facilities
One predictable line item covering compliance, sizing and replacement cycles, with unit costs you can defend in a budget review.
Agencies and resellers
One contact for sourcing, branding and multi-country delivery, your margin protected and lead times you can quote to your own client.
Schools and universities
Freshers kit, society hoodies, open day teams and leavers garments, at a student price point that still feels like something worth keeping.
Healthcare and care
Scrubs, tunics and polos that identify roles instantly for patients and families, laundered constantly and replaced on a schedule.
Transport and logistics
Drivers, warehouse crews and depot staff in weather ready layers, visible at night, sized across a workforce that changes through the year.
Charities and councils
Volunteer teams identifiable at a glance on a public street, with the budget stretched by simpler decoration and one larger run.
Fourteen situations, nine garment families, one supplier and one invoice. What follows is the wardrobe itself, how the branding is applied, and the questions buyers ask us before they commit.
The wardrobe
Nine garment families. One distributor, one invoice.
Apparel is not one product, it is a wardrobe, and the right garment depends entirely on who wears it and where they are standing when they do.
What each family is actually forFrom two euro giveaways to certified site kit.
T-shirts and polos
The volume workhorse. Light ring spun cotton for festival crowds and giveaways, heavier weights for staff wearing them daily, pique polos when the same team meets clients. The cheapest honest route to a dressed crowd.
Sweatshirts and hoodies
The garment people keep. Brushed fleece and heavier French terry survive years of washing, which is exactly why hoodies leave the building and reappear at weekends, carrying your logo into private life.
Jackets and outdoor
The highest perceived value in the range. Softshells, gilets and waterproofs earn real gratitude, get worn all winter, and place embroidery at chest height on somebody standing outdoors in public.
Corporate and formal wear
Oxford shirts, blouses and fine knitwear for showrooms, receptions and pitches. Discreet embroidery reads as a company that pays attention, which matters when the garment is in the room during a negotiation.
Workwear and safety
Hi-vis vests, coveralls, trousers and site softshells built for real conditions. Compliance, durability and honest size splits, with reorders scheduled so nobody works a shift in the wrong garment.
Caps and headwear
Lowest cost per head and no sizing problem to solve. Caps, beanies and bucket hats put branding at eye level in every photograph, which is why they dominate festivals and summer campaigns.
Sportswear and activewear
Breathable technical fabrics for clubs, races, gyms and wellness schemes. Sublimation can cover a whole garment in your colours, so a team looks manufactured rather than printed after the fact.
Accessories and uniform extras
Aprons, scarves, socks, belts and bags finish a look and rescue a budget. Often the cheapest way to brand people who already have clothing, which suits hospitality and retail particularly well.
Baby and kids apparel
Family days and gifts for new parents. Soft cottons and certification friendly prints, in the one category recipients photograph, keep for sentimental reasons and hand down rather than discard.
How the branding is appliedTap a method. The same logo can read premium or cheap.
Embroidery
Thread stitched into the fabric. Premium, permanent and the natural choice for polos, knitwear, caps and outerwear. Suits confident shapes better than fine gradients, and never cracks or peels.
Screen print
Ink pushed through a mesh, priced by colour and quantity. Unbeatable economics once you pass a few hundred pieces, which is why it remains the standard for event and festival tees.
Transfer print
Digital detail applied with heat. Photographic artwork, gradients, short runs and personalisation such as names or numbers, with no setup cost per colour to amortise.
Sublimation
Dye bonded into polyester so nothing sits on the surface. All over graphics, technical sportswear and anything that has to survive heavy use without cracking, peeling or fading at the print edge.
Five questions everybody asks, answered without spin
What if we get the sizes wrong?
We build the split from your real headcount, with a buffer in middle sizes, where every swap request lands.
Will the branding survive washing?
Correct embroidery and screen print outlive the garment. Bad method and fabric pairings we flag before you order.
Do we have to order hundreds?
Minimums follow garment and method, not our preference. Short runs work, and we say when volume genuinely helps.
Can you hit our date?
Catalogue: seven to fourteen working days from artwork approval. Bespoke: four weeks or more, never quoted short.
Can this be done sustainably?
Organic cotton, recycled polyester and certified ranges exist across most families. We quote them beside the standard option so you can see the real difference.

Clothing & Apparel – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. What printing methods are available for custom clothing & apparel?
We offer a full range of branding techniques to customise your apparel. The method used will depend on your artwork and the garment, but the most popular options include:
- Screen Printing: Ideal for t-shirts, hoodies, and other flat garments, especially in higher volumes. Screen printing produces vibrant, long-lasting prints for solid colours and is very cost-effective for bulk orders.
- Embroidery: Perfect for a premium look on polos, jackets, caps, and more. Embroidery involves stitching your logo/design with threads, giving a durable and professional finish. It’s commonly used for corporate shirts and hats where a high-end appearance is desired.
- Digital Transfer & DTG (Direct-to-Garment): These modern printing methods allow full-colour designs, gradients, and even photographic images to be printed on textiles. DTG is great for small runs or one-off pieces because it prints directly on the fabric like an inkjet printer, with no setup screens required. Digital transfer (heat transfers) are used to apply full-colour logos or complex images with excellent detail, especially on performance fabrics.
- Transfer Vinyl & Other Methods: For certain cases like individual names/numbers on sports jerseys, we might use heat-transfer vinyl. We also have specialty options like sublimation printing for all-over prints on polyester sportswear, and others like pad printing or laser engraving for specific items (though those are more common for hard goods).
Not sure which method is best? Don’t worry – our team will recommend the most suitable printing technique for your chosen apparel and artwork to ensure a durable, high-quality result. We even provide visual mock-ups before production so you can see how the print will look and approve the method and placement in advance.
2. Where do you ship custom apparel orders? Do you serve my country?
Swish & Click is a pan-European provider, and we deliver to all of Europe, including the entire EU as well as the UK, Switzerland, and other EEA countries. Whether you are in Spain, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Malta, Italy, Ireland or anywhere in between, we’ve got you covered with fast, tracked shipping across Europe.
We also offer international shipping beyond Europe. If you need your branded clothing delivered to the USA, Canada, or other regions, we can arrange that on request. In fact, our logistics network supports worldwide delivery – just let us know your location and we will provide a shipping quote. We handle all the necessary paperwork (customs, VAT/EORI compliance, etc.) to ensure smooth delivery across borders.
In short: No matter where you are, we can likely get your custom apparel to you. Our network spans from European countries to global destinations, so feel free to ask about shipping to your specific country.
3. Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ) for clothing and apparel?
No, there is no strict MOQ for most apparel products. Unlike many promotional product suppliers, we don’t force large minimum order quantities on standard clothing items. In fact, for almost every clothing product – from t-shirts to hoodies – you can even order a single piece if needed. This is great if you want just a sample or have a very small team.
That said, we do recommend ordering in reasonable quantities (e.g. starting around 25–50 units) to get the best per-unit pricing. Printing one shirt at a time can be relatively costly per piece, whereas ordering say 250 or 500 pieces will significantly reduce the average cost. Our pricing is very transparent, and we’ll quote you the best price breakpoints.
Are there any exceptions?
A few specialized apparel items (for example, certain premium corporate wear or safety workwear) may have higher minimums due to how they’re produced or sourced. For instance, some high-end jackets or items coming from Far East suppliers might require a minimum batch (often these are products that are custom-made or imported in bulk). But for the vast majority of clothing items, there is no mandatory MOQ – you have complete flexibility to order just what you need. We’re happy to accommodate small orders, prototypes, or one-off pieces as well as large bulk orders.
4. What types of clothing items can I customise with my logo?
Pretty much any type of apparel you can think of! Swish & Click offers a wide range of clothing and wearable items that can be branded with your logo or design. Our Clothing & Apparel catalogue includes everything from casual wear to corporate attire:
- T-Shirts & Polo Shirts: The most popular choices for promotions and uniforms. We have basic tees, premium fitted t-shirts, long-sleeves, and classic polos in various fabrics.
- Sweatshirts & Hoodies: Great for team wear or merchandise – choose from lightweight jumpers, cosy hoodies, zip-ups, etc.
- Jackets & Outdoor Wear: Including softshell jackets, windbreakers, fleeces, and even raincoats that can be embroidered or printed.
- Corporate & Formal Wear: Button-down shirts, blouses, and business attire for a professional look at events or in the office.
- Workwear & Safety Gear: High-visibility vests, uniforms, aprons, and other specialist workwear (note: some safety items might have an MOQ as mentioned). These can be branded for your workforce or event staff.
- Caps, Hats & Accessories: Caps, beanies, and other headwear are available to embroider your logo on. We also offer things like bandanas, scarves, and uniform extras.
- Sportswear & Activewear: Athletic shirts, jerseys, shorts, and gym wear for sports teams or fitness events. We can even do individual player names/numbers (see the question on personalisations).
- Baby & Kids Apparel: If you need branded kids’ t-shirts or baby onesies (for schools, camps, or events), we have options in smaller sizes too.
- Premium & Exclusive Apparel: High-end brands and premium apparel items are available for when you want top-quality corporate gifts or executive clothing.
In summary, from basic cotton tees to executive jackets, we can source and customize it. Check out our Clothing & Apparel category online for the full list of items. If you don’t see a specific garment you want, just ask – with our network of over 25,000+ products, we can likely get it. We pride ourselves on being a one-stop shop for all branded apparel needs.
5. Do you offer eco-friendly, organic or recycled clothing options?
Yes, absolutely! We are strong believers in sustainable, green and eco-conscious merchandise. Swish & Click offers a dedicated range of organic and recycled clothing options for clients who prefer environmentally friendly apparel. For example, we have T-shirts and hoodies made from 100% organic cotton or blends of organic cotton and recycled polyester. These items maintain high quality while reducing environmental impact.
We actually have a separate Organic & Recycled Clothing collection on our website, which features garments that are certified organic, recycled, or sustainably produced. (You can browse it here to see the available eco-apparel.) This includes products like organic cotton t-shirts, recycled polyester fleece jackets, biodegradable fabric tote bags, etc. Many of these items carry certifications such as OCS (Organic Content Standard) or GRS (Global Recycled Standard), so you can be confident in their eco-credentials.
By choosing items from our eco-friendly line, you’re not only promoting your brand but also demonstrating a commitment to sustainability. These green options have become very popular across Europe – for instance, organic cotton shirts for staff uniforms or recycled material hoodies for event merchandise. If sustainability is a priority for your campaign, let us know and we will guide you to the best eco options (and we’re adding new sustainable products all the time). Branding methods for eco-apparel are the same (we can screen print, embroider, etc.), ensuring you get a great result on guilt-free garments.
6. How long does production and delivery take for custom apparel orders?
We understand timelines are important. Generally, standard production time for apparel is very quick – usually about 1 to 4 working days from the time you approve your artwork and we confirm payment. Yes, that’s right – in many cases we can print or embroider your clothing in just a few days. The exact production time can vary depending on factors like the complexity of your design, the quantity of items, and the specific product (for example, embroidery on 500 polo shirts might take a bit longer than printing 50 t-shirts). We will always give you an estimated production lead time in your quote.
Once production is complete, delivery within Europe is fast, typically just 1 to 5 working days depending on your location. For most central EU countries, shipping transit is around 1–3 days. More distant or island locations in Europe may take a couple days extra. For example, clients in France, Germany or Spain often receive their order in 2–3 days after dispatch, while deliveries to Scandinavia or Ireland might be 3–5 days. We ship from within the EU, so European orders arrive quickly and without customs delays.
To sum up, for European orders you’re usually looking at about 1 week total turnaround (a few days to produce, a few days to ship) once you’ve approved the design. This is an average; simpler orders can arrive even sooner. If your items are coming from a Far East supplier or being made overseas (which might happen for very large bulk orders or special items), then timelines are longer – often 15–25 days production plus international shipping time. But for our standard apparel coming from EU or UK suppliers, we keep things quick.
We know timing can make or break an event, so we work hard to meet your deadlines. If you have a specific date you need the items by, let us know upfront – we will schedule backwards from your deadline to ensure on-time delivery. Transparent communication is key: we’ll provide a production & delivery schedule and keep you updated at every step.
7. Can I get my order faster? Do you offer rush or express service for apparel?
Yes — we do offer rush production and express delivery on many apparel items for those last-minute needs. We understand that sometimes you need your branded clothing urgently (for an upcoming event, a sudden campaign, etc.), and we have options to accelerate the process.
In many cases, we can turn around certain apparel orders in as little as 24-48 hours. For example, if you only need a small batch of t-shirts with a one-colour print, we might produce them the same day or next day and ship immediately. We leverage digital printing and local stock to achieve these fast turnarounds. Plain (unbranded) apparel or simple logo prints are the easiest to rush.
Do note that not every item or method is eligible for super express. Large embroidery orders or very complex multi-colour screen prints might have some minimum time requirements. However, we will always do our best to find a solution for tight deadlines. We might suggest an alternative product or printing technique that can be done faster if your first choice is too time-consuming. We never promise what we can’t deliver, but we often manage to accommodate urgent requests by prioritising your order in our network.
If you need an order by a specific date that is coming up soon, just tell us when you enquire. We’ll check all options – sometimes we can offer an express service (which may include a rush production surcharge or upgraded shipping). We’ll be very clear about any extra costs for expediting before you commit. Many of our clients are surprised at how fast we can move – we’ve handled event orders with just a few days’ notice. So yes, last-minute orders are possible: let us know your timeline and we’ll make it happen if it’s humanly (and logistically) possible.
8. Can you help with design or artwork if I don’t have a ready logo?
Absolutely. We have an in-house design team that can assist you with preparing your artwork for print. If you already have a logo but maybe not in the right format, we’ll help optimize it – for example, by converting it to a vector format, adjusting layouts, or cleaning up any issues – at no extra cost. We want your logo to look perfect on your apparel.
Specifically, we often help with logo vectorization (turning your PNG/JPG into a crisp vector file) and ensuring the colours and sizing are print-ready. We’ll also create a digital mock-up of your logo on the product and send it to you for approval before production. This way, you can see the placement, size, and colours on, say, a t-shirt or jacket and request adjustments if needed. We only proceed to print once you’re happy with the preview.
If you don’t have a logo or design at all, we can still help. Our graphic designer can work with you to create a simple design or text layout for your apparel. For more complex design work or a complete logo creation, we offer that as a separate design service (we’ll quote that case by case). But for basic setup and minor edits, our team is happy to support you as part of the ordering process.
In short, you don’t need to be a design expert – we’ve got you covered. Send us whatever artwork you have (even a sketch or an idea), and we’ll assist in turning it into a print-ready graphic. We’ll make sure the artwork meets all the requirements (proper resolution, colour profiles, correct dimensions) so that your finished apparel looks sharp and professional. Helping clients with artwork is something we do every day, and we’re glad to do it to ensure you get the best result.
9. What sizes and colours are available for the clothing items?
We offer apparel in a wide range of sizes and colour options to suit everyone’s needs. Each product has its own set of available sizes and colour variants – generally, our garments come in standard unisex sizing (often from XXS/XS or S up to 2XL or 3XL in many cases). We also have specific women’s fitted cuts for certain t-shirts, polos, and jackets, which typically range from XS-L or XS-XXL depending on the brand. For example, a unisex sweatshirt might be offered in sizes XS through 3XL, whereas a ladies’ cut polo might run from S to XXL. We aim to cover all common sizes so your team or audience can get a proper fit.
In terms of colour choices, most apparel items come in a palette of colours. Common t-shirt colours include basics like black, white, navy, red, royal blue, green, grey, etc., and sometimes fun colours like orange, purple, pink depending on the model. Hoodies and jackets also often have multiple colour options. On each product’s page on our site, we list the available colours and you can typically see swatches or images. For instance, a cotton tee might be available in a dozen different colours, while a baseball cap might have 5-6 colour choices.
We even have kids’ sizes and baby apparel for certain products (as mentioned earlier). If you need youth sizes for t-shirts or hoodies, or even toddler tees, we can source those in many cases. There’s a dedicated Baby & Kids Apparel category for items meant for children, which includes age-appropriate sizing.
When you inquire or request a quote, we’ll clarify the sizing availability for the items you’re interested in. We can also provide size charts upon request, so you can check measurements if needed. If you have any concerns about fit (for example, whether a shirt runs small or true-to-size), let us know – we have experience with the brands we supply and can guide you. And remember, if you’re unsure, you can always order a plain sample first to check the size and quality (see the question on samples). Bottom line: you’ll have plenty of size and colour options to choose from, ensuring your apparel matches your brand colours and fits your recipients well.
10. Can I personalise each clothing item with individual names or numbers?
Yes, in many cases you can! We offer individual personalisation options on apparel for things like team uniforms, staff names on shirts, or event jerseys with unique numbers. Whether it’s printing a different name on each t-shirt or numbering uniforms, it is often possible – typically for an additional fee per item to cover the extra setup.
However, the feasibility can depend on the product and printing method. Some apparel branding methods support variable data easily (for example, vinyl transfer or digital printing can handle changing text on each piece), while others like mass screen printing are not designed for constantly changing designs. For instance, putting individual names on the back of sports jerseys is usually done with vinyl heat transfer or a digital print, after the main logo is printed on the front.
We will let you know what’s possible for your specific request. In our experience, personalising each item (like adding each employee’s name to their polo shirt, or each player’s number on a team shirt) is commonly done and we’re happy to do it. Just be aware it might affect the cost slightly and add a little time, since each item has to be set up separately. The price for personalisation is usually a small add-on per piece.
If you need unique designs on every item (for example, one shirt has Logo A, another has Logo B), that’s also possible but might be treated as separate small orders for each design. We often advise sticking to one main logo and just personalising names/numbers if consistency is needed, to keep things efficient and cost-effective.
When you request a quote, simply mention that you’d like individual names or any custom elements on each piece. We will confirm what method we’ll use (printing or embroidery, etc.) and provide pricing for that personalisation. Many of our suppliers and machines support variable data printing, especially on apparel and badges, so we likely can accommodate your needs. This is perfect for clubs, companies, or events where everyone gets something with their name on it – it adds a special touch to the apparel.
11. Can I return or exchange custom clothing items if there’s an issue?
Because all our products are custom-branded to order, returns or exchanges are generally not possible unless there is a confirmed defect or error on our part. We cannot restock or resell a t-shirt with your logo on it, so we can’t accept returns for reasons like choosing the wrong size or simply changing your mind. This is standard for the industry (any customized items are typically final sale).
However, your satisfaction is extremely important to us. We take multiple steps to prevent any issues: we’ll send you visual proofs/mockups to approve before production, we use quality checks during printing, and we carefully inspect every order before dispatch. If despite these precautions something goes wrong – for example, if the wrong logo was printed, or there was a manufacturing flaw in the garment – we will absolutely make it right. In cases of a clear mistake or defective product, we will offer a reprint or replacement. Essentially, if we made an error or the product is not as agreed in the proof, it’s on us to fix it.
For sizing issues, since we provide size info and even samples if requested, we generally can’t exchange for a different size after the fact (so do double-check the size charts or order a sample if unsure). If the order was unbranded (blank clothing with no print) and you needed to return those, we might handle that on a case-by-case basis, but for branded apparel we hope to get everything correct upfront.
To give you peace of mind, we maintain clear communication. Before we print anything, you approve the design proof – that is the stage to catch any errors or changes. Once you give the go-ahead and we begin printing, changes aren’t possible, so we want to ensure it’s perfect beforehand. We’re always available if you have concerns during the process. Our aim is that when you receive your custom clothing, it meets or exceeds your expectations so returns don’t even become an issue.
In summary: due to customisation, no general returns/exchanges are accepted, but if there’s a manufacturing issue or mistake, we will correct it. We strive for 100% satisfaction and will work with you to resolve any problems fairly. Please review all proofs and details carefully before production, and don’t hesitate to ask questions – we’re here to help ensure you love the final product.
12. Are the prices listed inclusive of printing and setup? How does pricing work for custom apparel?
We believe in transparent, all-inclusive pricing. In most cases, any quote we provide you will cover everything: the cost of the product (blank garment), the branding (e.g. a one-color print or embroidery), basic setup fees, and standard delivery to your address. We don’t like hidden fees, so we’ll spell out exactly what’s included. For example, a quote for 50 printed t-shirts will typically include the shirts themselves, the printing of your logo (say in one color on the front), all setup/plate/screen costs for that print, and the shipping cost to your location, all in one price per unit or one total sum.
On our website’s product listings, you might see a “regular price” per item – note that those are indicative base prices (often for the product without printing). When you request a formal quote, we will confirm the price including your customisation. We usually bundle the print cost in, so you get a single combined price. For standard logo placements (like a small chest print or a front print in one colour), that’s included by default in our quotes. If you need something additional – for instance, multiple print colours, printing on multiple positions (front and back), or adding individual names – there might be extra charges, but we will let you know upfront in the quote.
VAT/taxes are another aspect of pricing: since we serve Europe, our quotes will state whether VAT is included or not, depending on your situation. For EU business clients with a valid VAT number (outside Estonia), we can zero-rate the VAT (charge 0%). If you’re in the EU and don’t have a VAT ID, VAT of the Destination Country (e.g. Germany: 19%, Spain: 21%, Italy: 22%) will apply. For orders shipping outside the EU (e.g. to the UK or US), we don’t charge VAT but you’d handle any import taxes locally. All that will be clearly communicated – no surprises.
Additionally, larger orders often benefit from bulk discounts. The more you order, the lower the unit price usually goes. We will automatically apply price breaks at certain quantities. If you have a target budget, let us know and we can suggest how to optimize the order size or product selection.
Rest assured, our pricing is fully transparent and itemised. You’ll know exactly what you’re paying for. Quotes are free and come with no obligation – and we’re confident you'll find our prices competitive for the quality and service provided. Remember, our quotes include the complete service (from artwork prep to delivery), so you can decide with confidence knowing there won’t be hidden costs later. If you ever have questions about a charge or need to adjust something to fit your budget, just ask – we’re here to work with you and provide the best value for your branded apparel project
